Heh. Don't worry mate. We're eliminating places and figuring out what our dollar gets us in different areas between here and family in Kent. Personally I'm rooting for Staying put, Sydenham, Beckenham or fucking it all off and moving to the coast.
Had a valuation today. Apparently we live in a maisonette. Who knew?

Sydenham and Beckenham were top of my list but unless we top up our debt significantly they're out of reach. Having considered most places between Brixton and the Kent coast we're currently flirting with the idea of Eltham and Petts Wood.
Don't want to come across as moaning as we're really in away better position than we have any right to be - but shopping around for houses both in and out of London really does drive home how totally fucking bananas the London market is.
