Analog film photography and cameras

It is, I did it years back and there were plans to produce a book, but unfortunately had no money at the time. This stuff has all become incredibly popular now and I'm not sure whether to bother...

Just looked through all of the 5 issues.
Lots of talent there, some stunning images.
Not a fan of web zines normally, but really enjoyed these.

Any plans on reviving this project?

Would anyone be interested in this lovely little Ihagee exa0? I saw it at a second hand market in Prague last week, and had to buy it because I couldn't resist the East German craftsmanship and the Zeiss glass, but realistically; I've got too many cameras, and it's just going to end up sitting on my shelf collecting dust if I keep it.
I've looked up the serial number, and as far as I can tell; it's a 1956 example of the original version of the exa0 (which is the simplified version of the exacta), which is the one too have (they made the later models (ie the exa1 onwards) more cheaply).
The lens is the Carl Zeiss 50mm f2.8 Tessar, which again, seems to be the version to have. It also comes with the original ever-ready case, which is a nice bit of debossed leather.
It's in lovely condition, without much visible wear (except the patina on the leather case) and all seems to work as it should, although it is untested. The lens is very clean, and the aperture blades move smoothly with no oil, but the focus ring does feel slightly sticky (although it does work properly).
It has the waist level finder, which is crisp and bright, and a fold-out loupe for focussing.

It's yours for £50 inc postage. The cheapest one, the same as this, on eBay is £69

Hi-res pictures. A lot of it was suitable for PDFs but not a book.

You're making me start to think I shouldn't have shelved it.

I think it would be awesome to continue with it even if it was just for the digital zine (maybe find an alternative to the presentation via issuu.com).

If you have the funds to print a book now you could just set a hi-res rule for posting to the flickr group, no?

By the way if you still have a download link for the PDFs of issue 4 & 5 I would be grateful!

Ha! Bloody graphic design students.

In my opinion there hardly is such thing as "straight out of the camera" with film, as the way you / somebody else scans it already entails decisions about colour, sharpness, etc.

Is it possible to calibrate a rangefinder yourself? I have a rollei that's focus is a bit pissed but it's a lovely camera and I want to use it

What camera/lens/film

..never done it myself, but heard it can be done with some cameras.

The rangefinder forum would be the first place I would ask, but the impression I get is that it can be done if you have the right tools and the instructions.

I've never dared try it, but I'm clumsy.

finally got a chance to hand roll and try out some of Kodak's 5222 stock and I like, a lot. (leica m6/35 cron ASPH soaked in XTOL)

why thanks, scanning as i type, so this is the latest. First glance, the blacks be lovely and black and grain is rather deductive (rated at 250ISO)
