I am currently servicing the above hub and no matter what I do I cannot get the preload adjustment correct to eliminate the play in the wheel. I understand zipps are quite soft and there will be a certain amount of flex in the rim but this is lateral play in the hub.
The non drive side has a preload cap with a small grub screw that can be adjusted while the wheel is in the dropouts to achieve optimal tension so that the wheel spins freely.
All parts are clean and I have replaced the bearings in the hub. Anyone have any experience?
