That doesn't sound right. I have a Seiko solar that doesn't see daylight for weeks at a time and is still accurate.

Mine was in storage for many months but the moment I took it out of the absolute darkness of the box within a box within a crate, it reacted like a "28 weeks later" zombie rising from death.
Within minutes it was spot on with the time.
Damn soulless, practical, efficient, accurate, inexpensive quartz / solar watches. Coming over here to embarrass our mechanicals.....
