A follow up on the above question.
I've got the serial number, hope someone is familiar with it, it's MZ11828 -

Just inherited this bike during a house move. Anyone got any thoughts? I'm thinking of making it roadworthy again. Geometry seems unusual.

the story goes, Mazza was a Swiss (?) builder in the 80’s

Do it!
I remember there was one on eBay not so long ago, in the same colour scheme as the bike in the Radavist post Kenzo linked to.

Hi,
Can anyone help me identify this frame?
Really light steel, lighter than a 531. Campagnolo drop outs front and rear.
Tight clearances.
It has a wrap around seat stay and a distinctive square ended seat clamp.
It has EO stamped on the bottom bracket with the frame number 3032780.
Apologies for the terrible photos. Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks

So this bike has come into my hands. And been trying to find more information regarding it. Seems maybe a team bike? Judging by the riders name and Dielle logos. Has anyone heard of Dielle in connection with cycling?
So this frame has Giovanni Pelizzoli`s name on him and aparently brazed by him under the Gion name.
Either way i just love this paint job.

Any Roberts experts about here that could possible help me accurately date my old frame, or perhaps pinpoint the builder as Roberts employed a few others to make their frames.
I acquired this back in either the very late 70's or early 80's.
It has a 4 figure number on the bottom bracket, nothing anywhere else.
Looks like 9680 or 0896
Before the new numbering system came into place.
Its before a time when the 'R' on the brake bridge came in.
The Fork Steerer has no number stamped either, but has the 'R' set into the top of the crowns. It was originally bought in a dark blue colour with 'Roberts' in Gold lettering.
Thanks, Andy

If you don't have any luck here, try the Roberts thread: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/206627/

Thanks Scilly, I'll post it there also.
I was just a little curious to who actually built the frame itself.
Whether it was one of the Roberts family or one of their employees at the time.
I'm just confused, it does not have the 'R' on the brake bridge, so that points me to the earlier model years, and looking at the Roberts web sites around the net, these make a mention that Charlie Roberts also stamped a number on the Fork steerer post, mine has no stamp there. Its definitely a Roberts frame as I bought it as such, in dark blue with gold lettering.
I rubbed it down personally. Thanks for the input anyways :)

Winston Vaz now trades as Varohna Frameworks: while you're picking his brains, he could reinstate the DTS bosses and his brother (Mario) could respray it for you...

Does anyone see any details which would make frame recognizable?
1" threadless fork (straight and bent one), eyelets for mudguards and weights 2.7kg w/ HS. There are no other details, no frame number or anything imprinted. I just call it "carrot".
