  • Haha. The tv cabinet? From the other halves dad. Not sure what PS is? But this is just like a school locker style cabinet.

I'll keep the arione. Here's a height difference pic next the caad I took last night. Will definitely be slamming dat stem but played it safe to get it built.

  • But it was deffo from ikea. Maybe some time ago.

  • Those ever so slightly unmatched tyre logos with the valve stems! :D

Bike looks good! As does the saddle I think; doesn't look out of place to me. Also second @jontea; first priority should be how it sits.

  • I think I lined up the rear tyre on the wrong side. Doh! Can't be arsed changing that. I think I'll take the stickers off the rims.

Cheers guys! Looking forward to riding it! It's making work go very slowly though...

  • Looks great, get those stickers off the wheels..

  • I kinda like the stickers on the wheels. For me they work pretty well with the frame colour scheme.

  • Any good with photoshop? I think it's one of those things I need to see first to make a decision.

  • Any good with photoshop?

Just a quickie for you to get the impression:

I personally kinda like the decals, but the bike does look clean without them.

  • One set of decals opposite the value maybe?

  • Nice one!
Definitely gonna be ripping some stickers off tonight. really liking that.

  • mean and moody.. get it done..

    Hairdryer and sticky stuff remover

  • Don't think I'll even need that. Did have a look at them the other week when I was tempted to take them off and they are a rather thick sticker, look like they'll just peel off without any problem.

I'm in for a night of sticky stuff now aren't I?

    #phrasing

  • you have put the skud on it now.. I always use a hairdryer to soften the glue first, should just peel off then.. then alcohol or similar to remove the glue

I'm building up my CDF tonight, might do the same with my Stans Alpha's as they are covered in stickers..

  • Cheers for the tip. I'll keep an eye on your build thread for build pics. Can't wait to ride this thing.

  • I partially re-stickered some Ellipses the other day - just one per side rather than three (just so you know, ha!). Maybe begin with the non-valve ones and see how you feel as you go, just in case!

  • I have a fizik aliante black with silver off my bike if that's suits you. Not the same shape of the arione tough.

  • Took all the stickers off in a fit of passion. Ha.
    With and without below.

  • Spot on sir.

  • Cheers but I need an ariones width. I'll just stick with this for now and maybe at a later date buy the newer version of the arione (r3?) that looks a little less bulky.

  • Looking great.. just built mine up (nearly), putting pics up now..

  • Slightly better quality picture after this mornings commute. She's like a sofa with regards to comfort. A little slower than my roadie but that's to be expected. Looking forward to crunching the miles on this thing. Smoothed the bumps out like a dream this morning.
