I have some they are good wheels for £99 nearly half the price as halo s ,not super light or fancy but do the job fine.

I've had a pair for a 3-4 years. Started off as best track wheels, now training/backup wheels - not had any problems with them. Plenty stiff and paired with nice tyres they ride well.

Bought some for the SS CX and they're pretty decent quality for the money. Can chuck them around the vicious gritstone bridlepaths of the Peak District and the hold up fine with a set of 35c knobblies. I'm not sure if that helps but I'll probably buy another set as and when I get round to killing them.

Just a heads up, Planet X will be flogging these wheelsets for £99.99 between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 29/08/15 as part of their bank holiday weekend sale.

I've been hammering the shit out of pair on my commute and they've been fantastic so far. Bought them as a cheap stop gap to proper wheels, expecting them to quickly die, but I can't see that happening any time soon.

Do the decals peel off easily?

They don't use decals now, the branding is painted/anodised or something. Might be able to get it off with acetone. Decent wheels at £100 but I'd go for v-sprints if you want to be able to remove the decals with ease.

Yeah, no removable decals, but I've been hammering the shit out of a pair on the commute for the last year (45 miles/day, 5 days/week on some sketchy roads) and they've been faultless - not needed any attention at all. I've had MTB wheelsets at over twice the price that have fallen apart within a year on that commute.
Wondering if anyone has owned a pair or has any opinions on them? Looking for a slightly cheaper alternative to the Miche Express - would they be worth the extra £50ish? Looking to upgrade from my very broken very heavy stock wheels
Thanks in advance!
