Got a deep drop Jaguar. It's great. I've used it with steel risers and aluminium risers. And I much prefer the feel of all steel, so B123 would be a great match with a steel Jaguar.

Go the pearl, Jag + B123's for street is pretty full on how often would you be in the drops?

If you're worried about Jag + B123 being too deep, you might want to consider the B125, since that has a smaller drop.

Thanks for the responses. Drops will always be drops, I'm more interested in tops position difference between the two.

had both; imo jag looks better but is far more aggressive ride with drops. pearl drop is just like any other quill stem, but also looks nice. depends how you ride but I'd go with pearl

Pearl on drops on street. More usable, like you say.
If it was clamped slightly higher, you'd be able to use the drops more comfortably.
Suggestion by @Tijs is good.
I used B123 on track before switching to B125 after a coach suggested position was too aggressive. Infinitely more comfortable on the saddle since the swap, with greater power (used with slammed 17deg stem - Pearl).
I use a Jag on a street/pub bike, but using risers. Would consider it too low to use on street with a deep drop bar like a B123. -

thanks for the advice. ;)
I can't decide between these two. I plan to use Nitto B123 with them.
I'm aware that Jaguar is better looking (with drops) and more in line with the track bike appeal. However, I'm a street fixed gear rider so I'm more interested in difference in ergonomics between these two (combined with drop bars of course) on the street.
Intuitively, Pearl should be more comfortable (or, should be more comfortable. period.) on the street but I'm interested in hearing thoughts of those that experienced both. ;)
