Anyone fancy riding this Sunday? Swinley or Epping or anything really. Either be out on my SSCX or bouncy 29er.

Hmm, I'm free Sunday and have a CX bike that has yet to really be used. Could probably get myself + bike to Swinley.

No Rogate on sat?
-
• #8007
I have the bouncy bike so think it needs a ride as this new year I want to bike more.
So Epping this weekend?
-
• #8008
Last Sunday was fucking nasty! Sleet and wind
-
• #8009
If you fancy some gravity fun there's a Rogate trip Saturday.

I was in Wales that weekend. Was even worse there. At least the descents were longer but the driving rain to the face made navigating the trails slightly difficult.
Where did you ride? Leith, Holmbury, Pitch? Or a different hill?
-
• #8011
Saw that but no where near fit enough. Will slow people down and not enjoy it.

Went up Pitch with a few mates hoping to find the trail you posted on the last page and see what the deal is (Two mates are basically gravity mad) but all we found was slush, sleet and numb extremities. Ridiculous fun....till the journey home.

Thinking of hitting Ae forest on my way south on Sunday.

If you ever come out on a Surrey Hills ride I can show you.

Thinking of going to Aston Hill Saturday. Have to see what the weather is doing first but that's the plan. Aiming to train it down.
Anyone else interested? -

I've got some brand new bits that came off my cannondale (I upgraded it before i'd even ridden it)
A deore triple
a set of 'windowed' deore shifters
a long cage SLX shadow + rear mech.
Brand new SLX Hollowtech BB (i kept the orignal in my frame)If anyone is interested make me a reasonable offer.

I made a short video of our Strathpuffer training.
Difficult to edit compared to skateboarding / snowboarding but reasonably happy.
Most of our training has been in Pitmedden forest in Fife and I think it's similar to the Puffer terrain. Looking like it's going to be a mud bath for the race itself.https://vimeo.com/152397725

For all you Swinleyists on here.

All Trails will start from the same location and with a ‘qualifier’ drop.
WHAT COULD GO WRONG?
-
• #8020
It'll be fine....
as long as they locate the qualifiers directly outside the local A&E department.

Seems odd that they'd level the gully then build a host of other things that children could easily brain themselves attempting.
-
• #8022
No need to worry, they'll all be dead at the bottom of the gap qualifier
Oh.

Black 1 and 2 will have a legacy of broken bones.
That's a beautiful thing. How I'd love to add that to the stock of mostly unused bikes I have in the shed, kitchen and bedroom(yep). It's not going to happen......take me away...............
