I can't find any examples of bikes with integrated headsets and steel forks. Is the result so heinously ugly that such a thing has never been documented?

I have, I was disappointed a little to be honest, having sampled food in genuine Indian tin shacks, found it a bit meh.

I would I have loved some nice rotis and a bowl of perfect dhal, not finger food in cups.

I have standard Campagnolo Centaur Ultra Torque cranks and I'm thinking of throwing a compact on there so I can spin more on climbs (and just get up them, frankly). However, the only ten speed cranks I can find are Veloce Power Torque cranks. If I get those will I need to replace the BB cups?

Find some second hand UltraTorque Campag cranks, don't touch PT.

When I asked for silver Campag ten-speed UT cranks on here people were quite forthcoming. I think there's a few around on the second-hand market. I paid about £30 for Veloce.

11 speed chainrings work fine with 10speed chains so just buy whatever ultratorque chainset you can find.

Just a massive bargain, buy them.

Sadly they're not compact: same gearing I currently have.

You don't need specifically 10 speed one, can't you not change the chainring?
