I think the current tag is just too sleazy for anyone to want to deal with it. :)

• #17031
I forgot I was going to do this today. Oops.

• #17032
And there we all were on tenterhooks. Mañana?
-
• #17033
I give up. Where is it?
-
• #17034
Tomorrow is a def possibility.
But in case I don't go, it's in SW2 on a road that is named for a cathedral town.
That plus the other clues should give it away.
-
• #17035
Oh gosh damn, I work in SW9 so will try work this out tomorrow!
-
• #17036
But in case I don't go, it's in SW2 on a road that is named for a cathedral town.
This is not at all true, it's actually in NW11 and on a street named after one of Henry the Eighth's wives.
-
• #17037
Actually, I am fuzzy in the border of sw2 and sw9. It may be sw9.

• #17038
Ignore Oliver.
At all times.

• #17039
I feel terrible - I didn't think it would be this hard. But you know what, there have been harder tags,so am going to leave it to Mashton to put everyone out of their misery.

Former home to Havelock Ellis - until recently there was a blue plaque on the building

Damn, I cycle nearby that twice a day. But without an easy opportunity to actually take it in - not least of all because it isn't all that distinctive...
It appears the noteworthiness stems from it being the former home of Henry Havelock Ellis, a social reformer who studied human sexuality and co-authored the first medical textbook on homosexuality in 1897, and also published works on a variety of sexual practices and inclinations, as well as transgender psychology. He is credited with introducing the notions of narcissism and autoeroticism.
Wikipedia specifies that the textbook on homosexuality was the first medical textbook "in English". I'm intrigued to know which language beat him to it.

I am a slow typist....
-
• #17046
I cycle right past it twice a day, but only know about it because I work on Ferndale Rd and my gal used to live on Gresham Rd. Many lunchtimes spent running past it towards hers and then striding back an hour later smiling from ear to ear.

And how strict is rule 2?
Old tag isn't taken until the new tag is posted (post them at the same time).
-
• #17048
It's the most important one
-
• #17049
Do me a solid and keep schtum.
-
• #17050
Second most important one, rule 5 is the most important one.
Particularly when their are yours, am I right?
That feeling of breaking the game.
TBH, I think it is just because we are southies. North and East ones go so quick.
