Damaged 1979 Condor tour de France frame – might go for chips if not many interested...and thus make for a good project for someone?

"...when it was a full bike is was at £700 in an hour and it was a 9 day listing but the frame got damaged so I had to take it off..."
So he listed it for sale then did this to it?

I think I do recall seeing it, sans the seat-tube murder you posted above, coming up to christmas. I bought an early Dolan made out of Deda Zero Uno with a similar (albeit not as horrific) issue as above. Fine in photos, but the seller rammed the (oversized) seat post all the way down to fit it into his car when delivering it. Gave me a full refund and let me keep the frame which was nice...still looking for a decent welder for the repair though. Anyhoo, I’m off topic now. Still might make a project for someone with a welder!
Edit: Why did I make myself sound like I’m defending the eejit for breaking the frame? You’re totally right @Scilly.Suffolk

Ha! You didn't.
I was just curious (and not suggesting you should know) as to how anyone could manage to abso-fucking-lutely trash their seat tube, while the bike is (presumably) sat in a corner doing nothing while the bids rack up...

Decent set of track wheels, well used. I'd consider them myself if I hadn't just downgraded to a set of cheapo Planet X ones.
