Here you are:
I put a bit of old inner tube over it to make it more grippy. Cut a couple of notches in it to make it sit flush. You could put a top cap on it if your some kind of fancy schmancy bike person

Really smart solution, might have to fashion something similar for my rack

That's pretty awesome, although long wheelbase is long.

Frame pumps - are Zefal the ones to go for? I see a Park Tools one which looks quite cool too.

I am mighty fond of zefal hpx

Nice one, thanks. Fed up with mini pumps.

I have one, the performance is dissapointingly mini pump-esque.
The ergonomics are a bit better though.

Oh, that's disappointing, I'd have expected Park Tools to be the business. I'd read a similar report elsewhere. Thanks :)

The only one I recommend is the Topeak Race Rocket.
Take ages to pump up (as they all do), but solidly constructed and reliable.

The 'Darwin' from The Light Bluehttp://www.thelightblue.co.uk/Sport/5LB5D141Z/Darwin-Speedtour-
Comes in a few different guises or as a frameset, could be super functional or more monstercross style.

Way I see it, they're the modern version of the Dawes.
-
• #11068
I'm rubbish when it comes to Geo but they appear less road orientated than a Dawes Galazy or similar, but can see what you mean.

I mean with the touring model, they haven't changed much and already the Light Blue have a proper Rohloff equipped tourer on hand.
-

Yeah, you could happily go for either the darwin or robinson model for touring, bigger tyre clearances appeals to me on the darwin but both seem pretty good value and useful frames. Obviously haven't ridden either at all though.

Yes. I think so.

Definitely porn for me.
RE: light mounts.
On my tark bike I cut the top of an old steerer off with the star nut still in it, popped a 6mm bolt through and it's perfect. I'll post a photo of anyone is interested?
