Those parakeets have got the right idea
They feed most actively in the early morning and late afternoon, with midday hours devoted to other activities, such as preening and loafing.

There are thousands up the road from me in Windsor Great Park and they find enough to eat in the beech and chestnuts. They have spread to my neighbourhood as have Red Kites but I don't mind them so much. I get 20 parakeets hanging around like vultures.

Meanwhile the vultures near me have started dying their feathers like parakeets.
Truly the new romantics of the avian world.

Pic or it didn't happen ;)
There's a lot of UNO stems alas, no idea which one it can be :)

is there a legitimate way of downloading windows 7 iso files now that digital river has taken down the links?

The ATAC used to be fairly good and reliable, until in the recent couple of years it need servicing (and the fact the cleat is brass mean they need regular replacement compare to the steel Shimano cleat which you can make it last a decade if you're careful.

the brass cleats did kill me. But at one stage I had tons lying around. Now I have 2 new pairs of shoes with new cleats but giving them up wont be difficult.

50t (or bigger) narrow wide 110bcd (5 bolt) chainrings - anyone except for Sram doing them?
-
• #73413
Don't Miche use funny lock ring threads?
-
• #73414
Yeah but Miche lockrings are only £2.50
-
• #73415
TBF it's not exactly necessary on a track bike.
-
• #73416
I know, but it is if you want to ride it to the track.

Don't Miche use funny lock ring threads?
Same threads a Campagnolo and Phil Wood, so there's nothing funny about them, they're just different from JIS/ISO*
*That should make the post show up in everybody's square taper BB searches :-)

Does anybody here know how to keep these fuckers...
...off of these?
Ruger 10/22 is probably the best combination of cheap, reliable and effective
-
• #73419
What, by mentioning phrases like bottom bracket, square taper and JIS/ISO it'll make these posts appear in searches for such items? Hope no-one compounds the problem by repeating this.

Possible...
More likely 9mm though. -

could be worth it if it means tyres I can change quickly and confidently by myself
Bikes should be built from the tyres up. Decide what you want there first, and let that drive your other choices.

Way overpowered for small birds, and I don't think there's anything chambered in 9mm which would be legal for a UK civilian to own. If you want to use expensive ammo to explode them, a zippy little centrefire rifle cartridge like .22-250 should do

I have the choice at work of Glock 17, H&K MP5 or LMT 556. It will be a bit like taking a biro home from the office. What harm could it do?
-
• #73424
Is that a snuff film?

I'd take the 556 for vermin control
What harm could it do?
To the parakeet? Pretty much the same as the .22-250, I guess :-)
Miche Pistard clincher is c.£127 at Wiggle, so the difference isn't huge and could be worth it if it means tyres I can change quickly and confidently by myself. Same with Navigator Pista. Is there no notable difference in performance or quality?
