Ha, it's nothing like I imagined either. Was originally gonna be considerably smaller and just a tidied up version of the pic I posted.
As Pozan was super busy before Xmas he'd not drawn anything yet and as it was booked in after a few drinks just before Xmas I didn't have a consultation.
As soon as he saw the space available it made sense to go big. As big meant it'd be a swathe of grey inside the blade I have him free reign to do what he wanted. Drew up the hornbeam leaves in about 2mins.
Needless to say it's a much much better tattoo than I was predicting. Well worth the trek down to Brighton, will def be getting more work from him.

Nice one Ed, but not at all like I imagined it from the picture you posted earlier.
