  • Bird spikes...the plastic ones at the hardware shop. Or for more "invisible"ones, diy some out of stiff wire and stick them on.

    We get them all the time on our window feeder and they are noisy fuckers. I did try something with a smaller entry hole but they managed to hang on the side and get the food - now I just put more food out. I still get lots of tits, finches and robins - they seem to have a rota worked out between themselves.

    I suppose something that tilts or moves with weight might work but I've never seen one for sale (not that I spent much time looking). So my suggestion is get used to it unfortunately - at least they aren't squirrels.

    Ruger 10/22 is probably the best combination of cheap, reliable and effective
