Awesome frame!
I think option 1 (Dura Ace 7700 etc) would look better (SRAM group would possibly function better?) for the reason you may also think: just think a silver groupset and finishing kit would look better on a frame with such a light coloured paintjob (and the chrome bits of the frame of course). I also think the SRAM groupset might be a little too modern (looking).
Both are good choices probably, but you asked us so I thought I'd give my two cents!

So I've got this Rauler-built Asmussen in fully chromed Max with a nice pearlescent paintjob and I can't figure what to dress it up in. I've narrowed it down to two options:
1) A very good looking Dura Ace 7700 groupset incl. marching headset and 6500 hubs. A NOS silver Eclypse stem and then I just need to find a fitting seatpost and some handlebars.
2) A black Sram Rival groupset with black Apex shifters with white paddles. I've got a random black headset kicking around somewhere, a black Eclypse and assorted black seatposts.
I'm leaning towards Sram and then use the 7700 group on my Faggin with pantographed 1" carbon ahead fork. I've yet to choose the colour for that one, as I'd wait 'til I had decided which groupset goes where...
Any input?
