The cold headwind made the ride harder than expected and very quickly put an end to the idea of riding back. I'll keep that in mind though (laps), thanks.

Warming my feet up on the radiator in the train was lovely. It was VERY quiet though, just me and this guy:

Haha that pic is funny.
I've bailed once on a ride due to the bitter cold when I couldnt actually use my brakes and sat in the train toilet cubicle for the whole way back from tonbridge wells I think with my hands under the air dryer.

Other day I leaned my bike against the wall in the loos at Roehampton Gate in Richmond not realising the saddle had turned the hand dryer on so had a nice hot seat afterwards. Felt good, would do it again
