    Joking aside post in the lfgss the strength thread here, tell us what classes and stuff they have and perhaps we can help?

  • Every gym visit entitles you to a trip to Morleys (or Knight's Fish Bar) on your way home. No gym no Morleys/chippy.

    (Obvious advice is obvious but) don't over do it to start with and burn out. Like most new things it's helpful to build it in to your regular routine and once that routine is set don't deviate from it. After a few months it'll should be almost second nature.

  • have you thought about taking up cycling?

    one hour of typing at your keyboard will expend 34-54 calories according to http://calorielab.com/burned/ (assuming you weight 150lbs) - though i could not find the calories burned in typing furiously

    cycling could burn 340-1000 calories
