I think that was me. As I said then, standard bathroom fans are close to useless. Get a centrifugal one between the joists. My original post said more, if you can find it - I have no idea how to search my posts on this newfangled forum...
FWIW, extraction rate should be based on the size of room (at least it is for kitchen extractors, I don't see why bathroom extractors would be any different).
Ok thanks. Nowhere near any of the zones described above. I'll have a look and a google. I thought someone on here had recommended a particular type of extractor fan over and above the standard offerings but weak google fu and B&Q's website suggests I might have imagined it... cheers
