  • Nice project, sub'd!

  • b ea utiful, really want to learn to do this!

  • Headtube fillets, 1st time using fillet pro, I'm pretty happy with the result but it is very different to brass and a heck of alot more difficult to use.

  • Pretty hectic day but the build is taking shape. My polisher died and I had to resort to a bench grinder which did the job ok. Got the stays on and nearly finished with the fillets.

  • Nice work fella!
No clue about frame building, so what's the stuff on the chainstays?

  • Masking tape to protect the stays as the have been polished

  • Almost done a few small things left like the seat binder boss, straight off the torch and still rather hot.

  • it's a pleasure to watch progress

  • Brilliant mate, loving this thread. Need a pic of the full frame please! T

  • Can't believe I hadn't seen this. Looks epic. Polishing looks so sweet.

Do you have any idea how its going to be painted?

  • Subbed. Great stuff.

I'm guessing maybe orange and pink deep Vs to really set the frame off?

  • Polished the headtube today which was the final job, the frame is done.
Next it is off to paint and I will probably stick with pearlescent white with stainless stays and stainless haiku logo on the headtube.

    ooft yeah baby

  • So been a long time with no progress. We've been real busy and have finished another track frame and forks. Managed to get into the paint booth finally and all is looking swell, primer done, colour and clear will go on on Tuesday. We'll be taking the bikes to bespoked although just as punters. See you there.

  • Good jerb. Dropouts on the one in the foreground look a little like Poseidon's fork. What happened to the polished headtube? Looks ace.

  • Headtube is still polished just under masking

  • Here's a close up of the dropouts on Toms trackbike. Plugs and 5mm plate works really well.

  • Did you make the dropout plugs or buy them? Cos they are HOT!

  • Made in house, they are actually really simple. They probably took 10x longer than just buying sockets dropouts however

  • Just spin up some steel on a lathe? Haven't seen any nice socket track dropouts though
