I actually feel like London is the fairest test! I like to think I know most of the "shortcuts" in North, North East and North West London, and Google Maps will use the route I'm thinking of every time, whereas all the others want to take me on trunk routes, like Euston Road during rush hour. Fucking LOL.

Yeah fair point.

I think the issue is that the traffic might be longer on one route, but I know that the road is wider so I can filter okay on it so its actually quicker on a bike.

That's true, motorbikes are a curve ball and I don't have experience using it on a motorbike.
