• I'm selling my Wilier Triestina Lavaredo 2009, size Medium. This is one of the better versions of the Lavaredo model, with this one having a full carbon rear triangle, and looks to be a good deal more scarce than the standard models, of which you can find quite easily. Forks are the carbon steerer tube type. Price £300.

        top tube c-c 56cm

        seat tube c-c 52cm c-t 54cm

It's been fairly well looked after, cleaned regularly but sadly not ridden for a long while now. While I was using it it was properly maintained, and I've also upgraded it a fair bit. Mechanically, everything is in excellent condition and parts show minimal wear.

There are no dings or any harsh wear at all- the only thing to comment on is the paintwork, which has had to be touched up a few times over the years, mainly on the top tube. It's never been crashed or dropped. The parts painted finish is pretty tough and only the rear mech shows a noticeable scrape. The wheelset does show black anodizing removal from misaligned brake pads, more noticeably on one side of the rear wheel. Mechanically, all parts are in excellent condition, and also show minimum wear. The original worn compact chainrings have been replaced with a Centaur set quite recently. Gears have been tuned up and shift sweetly, and the brakes are nice and sharp.

The groupset is Veloce throughout except the xenon brakeset, with Miche hubs on the Ambrosio wheelset. A nice upgrade this, with only 28 spokes apiece, and being a big improvement over the original stock wheelset. Just fitted with new cartridge bearings too. Carbon wrap FSA stem and bars are fitted, and the saddle is a Fizik one, with the seatpost being Ambrosio. Cassette is a nearly new Campag model, and the Campag chain isn't much older. It's got new bar tape and tubes, and tubes and comes with a Gatorskin on the rear with an Ultra Sport on the front.

I can put on some clipless pedals if they're needed. Viewing welcome and I'm happy to post at cost to the buyer. I'm based in SE London. One thing to point out is that the bike will only be available as from Tuesday, as I'm away from home until then.

The bike is amazing to ride. It's super fast and very agile. The carbon forks and rear triangle with aluminium body gave a great feel to the ride and had an ideal amount of flexibility and stiffness. It's a lovely looking bike, very stylish for the price.

  • Weather's none too nice at the moment, so happy to sell with some clip-on mudguards if it'll sweeten the deal:)

  • The standard version of this model without carbon rear end sold for £1000, and without the upgrades I've added. Come on folks:)
    Price drop £295

  • Forgot to say- forum donation will be made if I sell the bike here. Happy New Year:)

  • This fine bike's just itching to be ridden again:) C'mon chaps!
    Price drop £285

  • Thought this Wilier would attract more intereste than it's had, but I guess I'll be (reluctantly) looking to Evilbay, with most probably no test ride/convenient collection for the buyer:( Ho hum, price drop to £275.

  • Quite a bit of interest for this bike on eBay- happy to let any interested forumers test ride/view before bidding, but thread closed.
