    Yeah, front would be .45x70+5 = 36.5 kg, which would result in about 60 psi (or 4.1 bar) indeed.

  • If you think it's too low, you can start at 70/80psi and see how you get on with it.

    From the sound of it, going from 100psi to 70psi would be quite a big jump that set the alarm bell ringing in your head which will be hard to get used to.

    Sounds about right. Going from 23mm tyres to 25mm to now 28mm means I just have to get used to lower pressures. I'll just steadily drop the pressure bit by bit. Quite pleased 28mm tyres fit my old school steel track frame though!
