Gotcha. I guess I'm wondering how much better they can really be compared to open paves, since people rave so much about them...
From the tread pattern, I'd says better as it's almost identical to my Gran Bois Hetres (except y'know, not as fat).
Check Vittoria's Youtube for video of what I assume are tubeless G+ versions being ridden over nails hammered through a plank and saying "fuck you air loss"
