  • decided to build up the 2016 croix de fer 725 with shimano hydro brakes, mudgards, rear rack and son lights and syn dynamo.
    i only can't decide if i should keep the original fork, the curved carbon fork or something different. would love to have a straight fork (carbon or steel), but better looking, especially a classier crown if i would choose steel. any ideas? advice?? never had a cdf before.

  • Can't comment on the fork but is 105 loads better than TRP hyd?

    The crois de fer 30 would be a real stretch to find an extra £500

  • 105 is full hydro, HY/RD is half but need compressionless and careful set up to make it feel just like a full hydraulic.
