Selling my 2010 Argon 18 Gallium Pro frame set as I am just not riding it enough since opening our restaurant. This may be a 5 year old frame now but it continues to be absolutely fantastic. The geometry is spot on, and she handles like an absolute dream. Tipping into downhill corners at 40+mph and she is solid as a rock, predictable and surefooted. Light and with a phenomenally stiff BB/chainstay, the arced seat stays and flattened top tube dampen vibrations and mean she's comfortable even for long all-day rides (my butt was probably the only part of me that wasn't about to fall off following the Dunwich Dynamo!) but an absolute weapon when you put the power down.
I love this frame. I've never owned a bike for as long as I have this one. But I'm just not riding it, and am looking to change to a steel CXer or similar that I can punt around on as well as commuting and doing some light bike trekking.
Important details:
Size: M (55cm C-T seat tube, 55.6cm effective TT length. See here for more: http://www.argon18bike.com/documents/pdf/catalogues_anciens/A18_2010_EN_l.pdf)
Condition: Good. She's got plenty of bumps and scrapes and rub marks as to be expected from a frame of this age, but structurally is solid as a rock. Spots of cable contact have been as well protected with tape as possible. She is by no means cosmetically perfect but will give someone years more pleasure without difficulty.
Includes: Frame, fork, headset with spare Argon 18 "3D" headtube length adjusters and tool, 3T Doric seatpost. Pretty sure I have the manual still lying around too. Could throw in a 120mm Deda Zero cheapie stem if anyone wants it to test riding position/setup.
Location: London N16. Happy to post at buyer's expense.
Price: £275 ono
