I hate people like you, the seller will drop the price when they want to, not when you ask.

• #4

Wow - making friends from the outset.
Pretty ballsy first post
I'd have been more impressed with
"hey, you there, I'd like you to lower your price significantly as I'd like to buy your bicycle frame but not at the price your currently advertising, a lot lower one."
That would have probably more successfully established personality and future behaviour traits.

Should we petition for it to be ban worthy?

i wrote "price drop?" with a question mark, the seller can either put yes or no. As it is a question.
either way i guess people are to high on their own supply of false egos -

Technically "price drop" is a statement. Putting a question mark after it merely exemplifies bad SPAG.

Technically this thread has been open for 9 days and then someone asked if there was going to be a drop in price, I would think that is reasonable given there has been no other interest registered in the thread (can't account for PMs). I think you and @Mancini are getting your pants in a twist over nothing. Have a cup of tea and calm down.

You're mistaken if you think this is even remotely twisting my underwear.
Im merely agreeing with @mancini 's observation that to expectantly demand a price drop is rude.
To send a PM making a sensible offer would have perhaps been a more tactful way of @gubhi expressing his interest in the frame were it to be sold at a lower value.
Tact and general etiquette seems to be something that's gone out of the window here as of late with the forum being filled full of people expecting something for nothing.
Perhaps it's a sign of the current state of the bicycle industry, perhaps it's the side effect of the latest face of online commerce, maybe it's just a lot of very rude, very expectant etiquette and tact lacking individuals who feel the world owes them a living....
I dunno, I just won't entertain or encourage it.
