  • Thanks Xavier I'll have a play with that. I'll have to change the post as that one is at max insertion before the profiled bit. (The post came with the frame)

    My thinking was that I need to have my hips forward over the axle to get the power on, as I also find myself in this postion when I hunker down for a big effort on my road bike, though I guess I might be a bit high on that too, given your explanation.

    And then aerocoach to decide which one to use? IIRC, back in the olden days some people tested faster with a round post than the Giant aero one. Probably something to do with how the thighs interact with the post from an aerodynamic pov
