I had a 760 with porous alloys as the paint had bubbled up inside and out. My local tyre chaps took the tyres off and coated some goo inside the rims and replaced all the valves which cured the air loss. It was a freebie as we're related by marriage but it might be a cheap fix until you need to spend big.
It's basically £100 for the guy to do the running around/wheel removal/etc rather than me.
That to me is good value - I'll make that same offer to anyone else on here that might want to make that money?
i.e. remove my wheels, take them to Lepsons, bring them back when done and refit. You'll need to provide something for the car to stand on whilst it waits, or you could (if insured) drive the car to Lepsons (Gillingham, Kent).
