rear light choice question - Moon Comet, Exposure Tracr or Lezyne Microdrive?
-
• #73228
I have a Lezyne Microdrive. I would recommend it, though I've never used the other two.

Got a Tracer and Comet, both a couple of years old now without any problems. Probably prefer the Tracer for simplicity (2 modes).

Consider it a guide ;) the file says it was last updated in 2011, so there's a whole bunch from 2011-2015 that aren't on the list. I'm keen to keep hold of the collection but don't mind selling a couple if it suits. If there's anything let me know, and I can see if there are others not listed that are similar.

This is my stance as well. Hoe can the post office prove that they haven't sent me something they have no clue about?! I've emailed the company back saying as much.
I think there's a chance it could be stuck in customs. I'll wait a few weeks longer and if it still doesn't turn up I'll get paypal involved. -

I bought a lovely softshell hoodie (swrve Milwaukee) that fits well in the body, but is coming up slightly short in the sleeves for my freakishly long arms. Any advice on how I could extend the sleeves by an inch or two. I was thinking of sewing on an internal fleece or softshell cuff, but if there's a trick I'm missing I'd love to know it.

@fredtc
I've had all three.
I don't like the comet. While i like it's blinding strobeoscopic rave setting, I've never used it in the wild.
I liked the lezyne one, but I lost it.
I have the exposure one, is good, like the soft glow you can use at night. Still a bit bright for group riding though.mourns the loss of the lunar r1 and it's group ride setting

Does anyone have any experience with the Google Apps Script for modifying the behaviour of Google Docs? Specifically I'd like to be able to show formatting marks in documents.
I'm vaguely familiar with JavaScript, if that helps.

Neither do Moon, it seems. It has been replaced by the Mk2, which is completely different apart from retaining the COB format. There's also the Crescent, which looks like a blinged up Comet.

Tyres, I want them to feel/function well
Do I have to suck it up and pay ~£60 for the Conti GP 4000s II 28C that I've been hankering after
or is there a magic bullet I'm not aware of?

Check out the o'reilly books, perhaps?
If you're doing web stuff check out miguel grinberg's flask book.
If you want to do some data science, then you could start with Doing Data Science. Has both R and python examples.

Clement strada LGG?
No, no, no.
There's more sidewall than thread on the 28mm, best go for 25mm.

4000s II in 28mm is sometime 30mm, maybe bigger.
They're an awesome all round tyres in general, as well as the;

thanks :)
It's to call an API for work...it works with Python so locked in there.
Let's see what the local friendly bookshop has, they should have the O'Reilly. And coffee, which is also important :)

??
There's more sidewall than tread on any tyre. I have the 25mm. Can't complain.
