I tried them on in different shops on different days, so I can't say exactly how big a difference. Tried the Synthe, wanted to buy it, but it's pretty pricey. Heard about the Foray, also thought it looked great value, tried it on, was disappointed. Quality obviously not as good as the Synthe, but OK for the price. Bulkiness put me off.
Will probably give in and buy the Synthe at some point, but I spend too much money on bike stuff. It is really nice.

Worth the extra £80 or so? I've been looking at the foray and it seems like amazing value? It's only 35g heavier than the synthe (not that I'm too bothered by weight). Was the mushroom head effect drastic? Serious question.
