Bullshit.
The contract is between the sender and the courier. RM will tell you that you have no claim against them.
The most the postie can do is check that their isn't an parcel waiting for you (red card gone astray or such like), but they aren't going to confirm that they haven't done something they didn't know about.
Open a Paypal claim.
I ordered some earphones from China on 18th Nov. They still haven't arrived. I've contacted the company I bought them from and they are checking with the courier they used locally but have asked me to check with my local post office
Is this something post offices can do? I kind of assumed that they can only provide proof of non-delivery if they have a proof of postage through their own system, not a foreign service? I'd go and ask them myself but won't be able to go until the 23rd
