Hi guys, long-time lurker, first-time poster. New projects have forced me to say farewell to old ones:
Old, goldish (70s?) Raleigh-built BSA Tour of Britain frame set + weinmann suicide levers/brakes + dead chain + BB + pedals + cranks + chainrings. Size 56. Can’t say what wheels it takes as I never got round to finding out.
Comes with flaky paint job and a bonus dark-red patina wherever the paint’s missing(!!) This is a real project - lots of rusty/seized parts (especially around the BB, though the pedals and cranks still turn).
I had at one point hoped to restore it just enough to make a beater/something spare for when friends visited from afar. Alas, I had better builds to lend and so this never came to fruition.
Anybody interested? I’d hate to dispose it as scrap but I need it gone fairly quick. Free to a good home and a forum donation if you’re feeling generous. Collect from Oxford Circus / Bond St area (W1).
