I was just pointing out there was info about the testing in the original piece and that the CA article isn't written in a particularly accessible way.

Does anyone know what bolt width an itm eclypse uses on the front clamp?
I got a lovely nos one...sans bolt, spares don't fit.
PS: Gel padding under bar tape kills vibration and road buzz well too i find, if you can't run low big tyres or a shock absorbing fork.

Any serious photo/art book collectors on this forum?
Anybody know of a good collector forum with active classifieds section?Unemployment is killing me, and it's time to liquidate the shelves.

yes
Anybody know of a good collector forum with active classifieds section?
no but interested if anyone does
I sold a load of books to Skoob, they gave me peanuts. I might be interested in the photography ones you have.

Optimistic but are there any sites out there that actually show the views that you get at theatres. Looking at Les Miserables for my girlfriend and shed loads of tickets (pretty much anything below about £70) have some form of restricted view in the description. Would be interested to see how restricted that is.

Can you pop to the theatre? Sweet talk them to go and see the setup?

What is a nice Python book for somebody who already knows the basics of Java and bits of Perl?
I am a bit stuck between "beginner" and "intermediate" here...I do know programming basics, but can't read the blipping syntax of Python and do need to know the new keywords/do practical exercises.

I ordered some earphones from China on 18th Nov. They still haven't arrived. I've contacted the company I bought them from and they are checking with the courier they used locally but have asked me to check with my local post office
And you can contact your local post office and file a case to prove that you don’t receive your package. (please got it with the stamp of the post office )
Then you tell us your case number; we will handle your problem accordingly. Please don’t worry. Is this something post offices can do? I kind of assumed that they can only provide proof of non-delivery if they have a proof of postage through their own system, not a foreign service? I'd go and ask them myself but won't be able to go until the 23rd

Have you tried https://www.codecademy.com/ ? Might be a bit basic at first if you already know what you're doing with the other languages, but there's loads of practical tutorials and it's all free.

I agree that it's good, but it now has premium advanced courses (so not all free any more).

Bullshit.
The contract is between the sender and the courier. RM will tell you that you have no claim against them.
The most the postie can do is check that their isn't an parcel waiting for you (red card gone astray or such like), but they aren't going to confirm that they haven't done something they didn't know about.
Open a Paypal claim.

It's a bit of a hefty little collection.
Almost everything I have is a first, some are signed but not many. There's everything from Bruce Davidson's Black & White, to Ryan McGinley, to Philip Lorca diCorcia, and so on. My old excel list of the books is well out of date but added below for good measure, after a while I stopped updating it, but it has 360-odd. I guess there's at least 400 now, but some aren't easily accessible and I'm definitely not selling everything (signed David Bailey books are being kept til he pops it, if ever).

Any ideas?

24hr tesco/sainsburys/something, if you are lucky it will have a kids tv character on it.
It also stated that they run the tyres at 120psi.
TBF that is more or less a real world pressure that people blindingly follow.
