    Remember we've got a new stadium to fill (fingers crossed) come 2018-19, so the young core on relatively manageable wages should be good until then.

    With this topsy turvy season so far, we've stepped into a position which is probably a year or two too soon, we still need to learn how to grind out wins when playing badly or below par, and to accept and revel in the pressure of being contenders. Our youth might get us through the latter, the former you'd have to discuss with the Sheriff..

  • thinking we're in a slightly better position, nothing I've seen or read so far about the new stadium leads me to believe we'll be going through quite such a long period of austerity as Arsenal did.

    I'm hoping the young players stay with us, we can still give them a relatively big boost in salary if they keep improving, we've tied up most of them through 2019-20, I'd be more concerned with Verts or Lloris heading for the exit if we don't keep pushing on. Also a case of Levy holding his nerve, if we regress and the league form dips next season...
