I had a g 2.3 petrol 460. Had it for 7 years until I put a con rod through the engine casing. Did all the work myself up to then but decided to chop it in after that. It cost a lot to run but lovely with it. They are quite different to the defender, a lot more refined. They can be a money pit though, if you've got any specific questions I might be able to help.
oo thanks, could be useful- at the mo it's all pretty text book- fixed a siezed heater blower, working on a fuel gauge reading too low, done some rust proofing etc etc. There is one thing- any techniques on resticking a saggy roof lining? I wonder if I could make some kind of brace?
