Dammit

I was on a cycling holiday in 2010 with some others on here, in Northern Italy - we crossed over into Slovenia and had a fantastic meal, it was very pretty also.

Slovenia is great, did a week in 2013,
Bohinjskra Bistrica area, trails around the lakes on the flat, for mtb, loads of miles and miles of firetrails up mountains, long road stuff- might not be as good but search out mior roads could be good , lake swimming and best of all -
no signs, park rangers, or twats telling you where you can and cant go

Stunningly beautiful, great people, good food and very bike friendly. The only thing to beware of is that many of the 'roads' over the mountains are distinctly Strade Bianche. Oh, and the bears...
