  • 3930 for fun. Plus commutes and pootling about junk miles.

  • 5028.01141. Biggest year to date. Nearly double that in 2016 hopefully.

  • Worst year yet, coinciding with the heaviest I've ever been. Must learn to love my 27 mile commutes and 7 a.m starts and avoid trains.

  • 6870 miles, and 127,000 metres of climbing.

  • Well I did a few more than I hoped I would do. Mostly all local. few races and a trip to France for PR.

  • There is no such thing as junk miles. Slow riding builds base fittness quite effectively. Commuting is one of the best way to get fit.

  • 9 miles more than 2014, but climbed 75k feet less.

New years resolution: Learn to love climbing.

  • My goal this time last year was 5000 miles so pleased I hit it, though with low mileage in October and November I left it tight. Target for this year is 8k.

  • Strava says 431 miles.

    Oh well...

  • I rode 11,065.38, includes all training, racing and rollers.

  • Just to ruin any carbon-friendly credentials I might have had I just checked my BA account - 46,000 miles flown, just over a week in the air. Thats why this year I've spent so little time on the bike. Hopefully 2016 will be better, but I don't think it will be - expect to see more running.

  • Yeah but think of them avios points bro. Gold lounges for days

  • not including time on rollers/commutes and a couple of lost rides due to the iphone, now got garmin.

  • Sure, I don't record every ride or commutes but it's a depressingly few kilometres:

  • Having no job for the first half of the year was pretty good. This year, work less, ride more.

  • Feeling pretty happy with mine. Well on target for 10,000 miles then the aches and pains eventually got too bad so I went and had 4 months of chemo. As you do.

  • 8385mi. A lot of it commuting though.

  • ^hard act to follow
Also happy with mine though, best year ever. A huge chunk of it was a huge, slow tour down the US so I'm not significantly fitter, but more time on the bike is always good!
