Although, I seem to have bad form at the moment for getting bored and bailing out on things.
I watched the first series, but I thought it was awful. It struck me as badly written fan-fiction for people who can't be arsed to read the original books. It could have been really good, but British made things seem to suffer from a lack of budget. I got the impression that they spent their money on making it look good, but they forgot the script.
