Yep, it was the 30x I'd added to my wishlist.
Are they similar to the Edge in that you can wack a track on them and then it will give turn by turn navigation? Or can I add a GPS track to them and at least have a line to follow on roads? They'll not log any ANT+ data will they? Seems the etrex are much more reliable units but lack a lot of what makes the Edge better. If they could just make reliable Edge devices...

You can wack a track on and ride, however you'll need to fiddle a bit to record your route compare to the Edge's press and play.

As far as I can see, yes it will give turn by turn instructions and is compatible with cadence sensors.
I think TD list products previous riders have used (Gabes would know) do they do a similar thing with your event?

If you are about to purchase Etrex 30 (or 20) be aware that the newer version is 30x or 20x.
