Record generally didn't trickle down (the '95 Chorus seatpost being a notable exception), but the lower groups can be good value if you know what to look for, especially from '95 when the name was added (snob value).
My favourite from the period is 2nd gen. Chorus: CDA cranks, front & rear derailleurs and there weren't separate Chorus shifters, it got Record.
6n is '90 and 7n, '91.
With typical Campag certainty, the second digit might refer to the half of the year of manufacture (ie n1 = Jan. to Jun.) or the quarter (ie n1 = Jan. to Mar.).
Either way, no one would know without checking and it's entirely possible they were remaindered stock which wasn't actually issued until '92.
