  • you can play 'identify the bit of shoreditch' each scene is shot in

I walk past where the lorry with the snipers was filmed in one of the earlier series every day on my way to the gym. I've looked and there's no decent angles for a sniper to get that shot off. ruined the whole thing for me.

  • I hope you're drafting a strongly worded (but polite, obvs) letter to the BBC

  • Re: The Bridge, I keep saying 'sex?' to my wife in a Swedish accent. She says 'no' in an English accent.

  • Found any accents with a different reply? Asking for a friend.

  • Serbian but only if they have daddy issues

  • Mr Dynamite - James Brown documentary was good, focusing on his early career and his involvement in civil rights. Still on iplayer

  • Really great, the Ed Sullivan show performance is just POW!

  • Yes! Was great :) I'd also recommend watching 'Standing in the shadows of motown', if you get a chance. Kind of a similar vein, it's an awesome film about the motown musicians - the funk brothers.

  • I've just caught a bit of Masterchef and one thing struck me. As a contestant, I could take the constructive criticisms from the professional chefs but I'd probably want to tell that cabbage merchant Wallace to piss off.

Anyway, is there anything better on? What's everyone recommending at the moment?

  • walloper wallace, wac indeed !

fargo - i eated my words over this (initially slated it) was very good and enjoyed the final act immensely

  • Gregg Wallace strikes me as a total prick. It even feels like they edit it to make him seem like even more of a pervy, disingenuous, gurning, moronic tit.

  • Jessica Jones. I'm on episode 6. Does it get any better, or should I bin it?

  • i dragged through it, not the best comic book tv series but better than supergirl, the flash etc

  • watching it feels like a chore

  • it's a great show, you don't know what you're talking about.

  • Just caught up with "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt".......was No 1 in Guardian telly of the year
.....usually US comedy leaves me cold but this is pretty funny........Fargo gets show of the year for me !

  • The them tune to unbreakable is wicked.

  • "They alive!"

Also i have been enjoying Tripped
and not just because I have a man crush on Blake Harrison.

  • Is Luther s4 only 2 episodes?

    I was disappointed compared to 1, 2, and 3.

I felt like there was too much and not enough pace at the same time.

  • No, not really - they weren't babylonian numerals. If you'd carried on watching you'd know that.

I still like it personally. It's a whodunnit. A well executed one, but a whodunnit.

  • a touch of cloth

charlie brooker spoof comic detective series
saw an episode the other night... very good

    will try and find more

  • finished the Bridge season 3 last night - was a bit nonplussed overall, it all got a bit silly to me :/

  • Somehow missed Fargo being on Netflix, have added it to my list. Think I possibly confused it with Lillyhammer, which is shit.
Started watching 'How to get away with Murder' last night, it's pretty ridiculous but more gripping than the average procedural/monster of the week. The worst thing by far about it is the awful editing and jumping around the timeline. In 3/4 episodes it feels as if I've seen the same flashforward scene about 20 times.

  • Enjoyed Mr. Robot, great way to end the series with enough strength for the new series.

Vikings was enjoyable, in the loosest sense, enough to watch it through season 3.

Sense8 still my favourite of this years, never related to a show more than this.
