That orange 993 is horrific enough to make any 996's look good.
Surely the best shape is the 964, no?

for you maybe, but 993 is my personal preference. gutted about that slaughtered puppy 993 targa ;(

Yep, coupla butchered beauties, and a good few non buthcered beauties. A crazy Lambo of some variety turned up and a Ferrari 365(?) too. Had a great blast around the Peaks. Snake Pass was ace at dawn. Managed to keep up with the front of the big group of Porsches without too much problems.
Dunno what people's opinions of Magnus or the cars he builds are, but he was a really nice guy in person, and took the time to chat to everybody that turned up.
Top bloke.

Magnus seems genuinely down to earth. When I met Rob Dickinson in the summer he had nothing but great things to say about what both Magnus and Rod Emory were doing. People seem to really like him.

Just up the road from where I'm staying there is a villa with a mint looking, red, Porsche speedster parked outside. It's usually undercover but the owner seems to have it out for a tinker now and again.
It's an odd choice of car for a Caribbean island with awful road surfaces, one million KILLER speed bumps and traffic so bad it tops out at 40kph.
Oh well. Anyone interested in me trying to snag a picture of it?

Always lovely to see a picture of a Speedster.

What car?

Seems alot for just a bearing. From a quick google to remind me http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Mercedes-W124/100-SUSPEN-Rear_Bearing_Replacement/100-SUSPEN-Rear_Bearing_Replacement.htm

ah, it's incl work, 4.5hrs according to their lists. It'd be cheaper to get a bearing kit from germany and get a mate to do it, but the rumble has increased the last few days, so rather than chancing it I thought I'd get it done. It's apparently a tough job as well, so I don't think I've done too bad
