It would be interesting to see if it CXers do try them out and see what the results are but it will mean a specific road/CX Procore system for narrower rims, I think. Apparently Schwalbe says that a minimum 23mm wide internal rim diameter is needed for the Procore system to work properly in this iteration so is confined to MTB. Even a HED Belgium 25+ only has an internal width of 21mm.
It will be interesting to see if Schwalbe develop road and CX Procore.
EDIT: Plus minimum tyre width has to be 2.25, so...

Only (apparent) disadvantage would be the additional weight.
And horrendous expense. But I guess it would be cheaper than cracking a rim or busting a tyre in the long run - maybe.
I wonder if some kind of foam / rubber rim strip thing could do the same job, but cost less and not be thrown away with the tyre.
Has anyone tried the bastard mutant offspring of tubed & tubeless as yet, Schwalbe Procore?
