Had a puncture that the sealant in my tubeless set up failed to seal
Failed to get the hose out from my lezyne pump as it had seized in place
I had failed to realise that my spare inner tube did not have a long enough valve for my carbon wheels
Borrowed a spare tube from @OneLessCardigan but the valve core unscrewed and I failed to get it back in securely and Simon's pump kept unscrewing it.
Flagged down other cyclists to try their pump. Due to my failure to tighten the valve core back up enough their pump could not work either.
Finally tried another spare tube whose valve core did not just fall out from Simon and got the wheel pumped up.
Put wheel back on bike but dropped chain from the front. Put chain back on with gloved hands and proceeded to smear chain gunk on saddle frame and bars.
