I know its CAAD and everything but its not a great road disc brake bike. Its a road bike with disc brakes stuck on.

True but I suppose in most ways that's all a road disc frame is? Otherwise it's not a road frame really? But I get what you mean, it's just had disc mounts added rather than a new frame designed. Bb30 puts me off as well. Although the praxis bb30 to shimano I have in my caad10 has been perfect for the last 8 months, but does cost £50...

TBF it is a good road disc frames, there's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it's severely limited compared to the CAAD12 (like tyres clearance).
Even the modern CAAD12 already outshine the CAAD10 to the point that it's actually worth getting over the 10.

If it had mudguard mounts I'd be cancelling my order on a Genesis equilibrium disc and be buying that. I'm kinda ashamed that mudguard mounts is what's stopping me.
