  • The perfect Christmas gift. Not long now… Go on go get that someone special a genuinely amazing looking road bike. You know it makes sense!

Looking for a quick urgent sale before Christmas!

It’s an amazing bike in excellent condition. Super light and with the wheels retails for over £1000.

this bike is better than a lot of the cheap junk carbon ones out there. This is a race bike and is brilliant in every department. It's made my German Bike specialist - Canyon. Frame is a premium Aluminium Mold and the Fork is full Carbon for added Shock Absorbent.

Bike has got a full Shimano 105 5700 10 speed groupset, Mavic Aksium Wheelset - Decals taken off, Shimano R540 Pedals (though not pictured), recently serviced by myself, Brand new Unridden Shwalbe Lugano tyres and is kitted in matching blue everything. Bike Looks stunning and is a small size. With a change in stem this can be used by anyone from about 5'3" - 5'11"

As said this isn't your normal Specialised or Trek bike, but a bike made in Germany and not easy to purchase in the UK.

Looking for £445 or make me an offer guys. Bike is perfect and ready to be ridden away. dibs and then PM please.

    Thanks

    yusuf

  • compact crankset with a medium cage rear mech. good for making the climbs easy. With the current configuration I have been able to get a 36t Cassette in the back without any issues. With a 34t at the front and a 36t at the back you can climb Everest - lol.

  • cmon guys its a good price. someone must be interested?

  • 'As said this isn't your normal Specialised or Trek bike, but a bike made in Germany and not easy to purchase in the UK.'

They're pretty easy to purchase in the UK. You use the website, same as you would in Germany.

Anyway, it's a nice enough bike, but it's a few years old now and would have been around £800 new so I'd be surprised if you get £445 for it.

  • Made in China.

  • Or Taiwan.

  • I really like all the blue parts.

  • Condition is great though. Someone make me a reasonable offer

  • Well it says Germany so you can ask canyon about that. I'm going by what it says on tin.

  • Thanks. make me an offer if interested

  • You seem desperate, £5 final offer.

  • 99% of bikes are welded/made in China or Taiwan, regardless of where they are designed.

Think of it this way Macs/Macbooks say "Designed in California" but we all know they're assembled in China

  • It's made of tin? In your original post you said aluminium. The truth will out.

  • You seem like an idiot. £5 for a brain cell. Done it's yours.

  • Yep tin it is. Tin man. Sparky haven't we done business before? I'm sure I've taken some tin parts off you too. :)

  • Anyway if anybody wants it then make me a genuine offer or I'll hold on to it until the spring /summer and get the sale then. Thx and please no rude comments. It's uncalled for.

  • Nope. You DMd me about a TV once but it'd gone. Nice bike but a bit too blue for me.

  • Oh yes.. Too many people to remember Thanks for the compliment. Yeah it is a bit too true blue. Well hopefully someone likes it. Take care and have a blessed holiday.

  • Lol, swapping the tyres for the crappiest cheapo luganos and the outer cables for noname shit just for the sake of blue is very steep..

btw, any cheap carbon frame rides better, than 99% of alloy ones..

    LOL

  • Read what he said again.

  • thanks mate.

  • clearly you havnt ridden enough carbon frames. ive had the privilege of owing both the canondale caad 10 and the canyon and can say hand on heart both Alu bikes ride better than many Carbon ones out there. Here's a review.

just in case you cant be bothered to read. here's what Bike radar say at the end and I quote.

"You will need to spend 10 minutes or so setting it up, but you’ll have nabbed a genuine bargain that’ll give you a massive performance boost over a £500-£600 bike – and beat most £1000 bikes. A very grand Canyon indeed"

Canyon bikes are really good and need to be ridden to understand what im on about.
