+1. Take nice car. Fuck it up.
OK, if you're driving your mum's Corsa 1.0 and you think it'd be marginally less embarrassing to drive if it had a badly-fitted body kit held on by self-tappers, and that cutting the springs in half so the wheels rub on the bodywork every time you go round a corner, or get in it, or a bird craps on it, then fine. It's only a one litre Corsa. It's shit to start with. But why take a car which is excellent to start with, and then make it unusably crap? Form over function bollocks-a-go-go.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder?
Or summing like that.
Stock 458 not as nice.
IMO

I guess money talks.
A fascinating comparison would be to see how RWB or LB mods hold their value.
I would punt that they do.

If it's a sculpture, then assessing it on aesthetic qualities alone makes perfect sense. If it's a car, then stopping it from working as a car just so it looks kewl seems a bit misguided.

That Lamborghini looks like the owner ramraided RipSpeed.

It is a sculpture. No doubt.
Form follows function right? To a point IMO.
Let's face it F1 / LMP1 / Formula E / Indycar are all butt ugly.
You have to go back 20 years to find something attractive.
DTM / IMSA / GT / WRC only look good because they are based on road cars that have been aesthetically styled.
Sorry if I missed something?

Actual functioning 458 GT - I would argue that it's much better because the addition are functional , note no rivets! Or stupid duck tail "aero" devices.

Nope. Minging.
Also, no Mp3 or air con.
I want Clair De Lune on the carousel Ffs!?

to be fair, no racing car should be beautiful. Brutal, yes - but not pretty.
proper race car ;)

Lightweight E Type? Brutal?
That's still a modded factory styled road car btw.
You seen the electric record breaker?
Designed for event. Munting.

Yep, the Pikes Peak stuff is so specialised though I think the only remotely nice car has been the 405 coupe. I couldnt find the original twin engined vitara that monster used to drive...
And yes, the E-type is brutal when compared to the race car.

Hmm - just adjusted the ignore settings...
Who'd have thought that ownership of every single car ever built in history would take up 57 pages.
Hey-ho and all that. Apologies for any confusion caused.

Not really sporting old bean?
No idea what point was being made either.
(Apart from a hatred of Japanese Street racing culture)
C'est la vie.

Seriously, have you been in an RS6?
Although saying that, it won't feel as quick as your Volvo because it doesn't have savage boost.
OK I take it back, once you've realised you can basically drive at 100mph absolutely everywhere, you'll want the rush of big boost again so yes, you will be spending money on it.

C5 though, not C6 or 7, a bit pony..
Seriously tho...might as well enjoy the money on public roads?
