    The 1000 is actually cheaper than what I paid for the 810 but I'd hate to give them more money for another product that fails intermittently. I can't be dealing with that shit half way through a race.

    Oh shit, Garmin going wrong is still fucking annoying.

  • During my 600k qualifier for PBP it repeatedly locked up and caused much anguish during the night.
    I have no data from my (aborted) Worlds this year.
    The unit shut off as soon as I started the timer right before my 30mi club record race.
    On Saturday's ride where it turned off and lost the first half hour of the ride - usually not important but I was trying to verify a route.

    Garmin 810s are not fit for purpose.
